The Sunday Sweat

The Genesis Invitational

Every Sunday, the LoopGolf team writes a newsletter for our 1,504 members highlighting all the action around golf, betting and culture.

Full Swing took the golf world by storm this past week after launching on Wednesday, Feb. 15th. The much anticipated Netflix docuseries kicked off with an episode that takes you behind the scenes to chronicle frenemies, Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth. It’s safe to say these two young guns are about that action! You won’t want to miss their high stakes money match as they prepared for the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills.

If you're anything like those two and enjoy winning money off your friends, check out our mobile app that's designed to simplify and settle your real-money games.

Tiger Woods finished the second round outside of the cut-line but when it was all said and done, the Big Cat ended up getting to play the weekend. He had a strong showing on moving day getting all the way up to T26 going into Sunday at 3-under. This approach shot on the par-5 first led to a huge eagle for the GOAT🐐👇🏽

MIC’d UP🔥 Collin Morikawa inspired by Max Homa a few weeks ago gave viewers live insight while playing the 10th hole at Riviera. Between the release of Full Swing and some of these new initiatives the Tour is testing out, it’s really starting to feel like the fan is getting more insight into the guys we watch play every week.

Jon Rahm went on a heatttterrr today posting the second lowest round of the day Saturday with a 6-under 65. Rahm was flawless on moving day, carding zero bogeys & going 4 under on his front-9. Check out his birdie putt on 18 that gave him a 3-stroke lead on the field heading into Sunday👇🏽

Cashmere Keith (Keith Mitchell) shouldn’t only be known for his old school golf style. The kid can play! While we don’t know too much about him, his name has continued to be at the top of the leaderboard and this weekend is no different.

During his 4-year career on the PGA TOUR, Keith has just one win, but that doesn't tell the whole story. He has one runner up, three 3rd place finishes, 20(!) top-10 finishes, and $10.6M in career earnings.

Design Brief: Footjoy has partnered with insurgent vintage-inspired golf label, Metalwood Studio, for a collaboration on the latest addition to the Premiere Series, the Wilcox. The new Wilcox features many references to Western motifs like the vegan rattlesnake saddle and the deep brown terry interior.
