The Honda Classic
Every Sunday, the LoopGolf team writes a newsletter for our community highlighting all the action around golf, betting and culture.
LIV Golf kicked off their first tournament of the season this week in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, for the LIV Golf Mayakoba. This naturally sent the golf world buzzin' in what had been a quiet few months for the new PGA TOUR competitor.
If the news of their first tournament of the year wasn’t enough to get people fired up, the PGA Championship announced this past Wednesday that they will allow LIV Golf defectors to play in the 2023 PGA Championship. With this news, each of the four major championships have now officially permitted LIV Golf members to play. A big win for LIV Golf.
With the 2022 beta test season over, LIV Golf embarks on its second season, rallying around its team aspect for it's 14-event schedule. With their new TV deal in place, you watch all the action on The CW Network from 1-6pm ET.

Back in 2019, the two-time USC All-American Justin Suh sat alongside Viktor Hovland, Matthew Wolff, and Collin Morikawa as the next wave of talent leaving college looking to make a splash on the PGA TOUR.
That summer, as Hovland, Wolff, and Morikawa smashed their professional debuts in historic fashion, Suh dealt with a wrist injury that set him back and relegated him to the Korn Ferry Tour (KFT) for the next 3-years.
Now injury free and fresh off a stellar season on the KFT, ya boy Justin is primed for a breakout season and looking to chase down Chris Kirk today for his first win on TOUR.
